The Ministry of Industry is driving transformation in Thailand’s industrial sector under the guiding principle of “MIND” – combining both intellect and heart to shape industries that grow hand-in-hand with communities in a balanced and sustainable way. This vision is realized through four key dimensions: achieving business success by embracing Industry 4.0 and future-ready technologies; fostering harmony between enterprises, communities, and society; protecting the environment and advancing toward carbon neutrality; and sharing prosperity with local communities
by creating jobs, careers, and social enterprises.

In line with this philosophy, the Department of Industrial Works is committed to elevating industrial safety standards by integrating advanced technologies into production and maintenance processes. The goal is to build safer factories, protect the environment, and ensure industries coexist sustainably with society.

To put this vision into practice, a key initiative in the final quarter of 2025 will be the major seminar “Elevating Safety for Sustainability”, held within **SISTAM 2025** – Thailand’s premier trade exhibition and conference dedicated to smart safety systems and advanced maintenance technologies, scheduled for 25–26 September 2025. This platform will not only showcase innovations and solutions but also serve as a vital mechanism to strengthen industrial safety standards in alignment with the Ministry’s policies.

The Department of Industrial Works is honored to continue its strong support for SISTAM for the third consecutive year. We believe this event is
a crucial stage for advancing Thailand’s industrial sector toward a safer, more balanced, and truly sustainable future – fully embodying the spirit of “MIND.”

SISTAM 2024 was a resounding success, bringing together the best minds in industrial safety and maintenance technology. The event provided industry leaders, decision-makers, and innovators with unparalleled opportunities to connect, exchange knowledge, and explore innovations. From the 3S Conference, which emphasised smart, safe, and sustainable technologies, to initiatives like the Free Safety Consultancy Clinic for SMEs, SISTAM underscored the power of collaboration and its important role in driving progress within the Thai industrial sector.

Looking ahead to SISTAM 2025, as the organizer, we are excited to build on this momentum, continuing to advance industrial safety standards, promote sustainable practices, and shape a future-ready industry in Thailand.

As the Co-Founder and Knowledge Partner of SISTAM, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University continues to play a pivotal role in advancing Thailand’s industrial development. Through the 3S Conference—centered on "Smart, Safe, and Sustainable Technologies Toward Tomorrow"—we are proud to create a platform where knowledge, innovation, and collaboration converge to strengthen the nation’s industries.

In 2025, 3S Conference now in its second edition, the focus expands toward digital transformation and decarbonization as key enablers of sustainable industrial growth. Together with 20+ partner organizations across government, industry associations, and institutes, Chula Engineering has helped shape the conference themes to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing Thai industries.

This year’s agenda highlights how the integration of advanced digital technologies with low-carbon strategies will drive both competitiveness and sustainability for Thailand. By connecting academic research with industry practices, and aligning national priorities with global trends, SISTAM 2025 aims to provide actionable insights and solutions that will accelerate the transformation of Thai industries toward a greener, smarter, and more resilient future.

We are excited to continue this journey and build upon the momentum from last year.
