Chula Engineering Collaborates with 15 Leading Organizations to Advance Industrial Maintenance and Safety Through Cutting-Edge Technologies
Bangkok, March 27, 2025 – The Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with 15 prominent industrial partners, is set to host Thailand’s premier summit on advanced safety and maintenance technology, Smart Industrial Safety & Technology for Advanced Maintenance (SISTAM) 2025. Scheduled for its third edition on September 25-26, 2025, at BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangkok, this high-profile event will bring together industry leaders to drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in industrial maintenance and safety.
Organized in partnership with the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan), the Thailand Institute for Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry (TIChE), and Exposis, SISTAM 2025 serves as a premier platform for showcasing advanced technological applications, digital transformation, and innovative solutions aimed at enhancing safety standards, improving operational efficiency, and boosting the global competitiveness of Thai industries.

The two-day event will feature an array of knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities, including:
- 3S Technology Conference – Smart, Safe & Sustainable Technologies Toward Tomorrow: In-depth discussions on critical advancements in smart, safe, and sustainable maintenance technologies.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wittaya Wannasuphoprasit, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, as a knowledge partner and co-founder of SISTAM, emphasized the growing significance of advanced technologies such as AI and smart manufacturing in transforming industrial operations. “Rapid technological advancements are reshaping manufacturing, distribution, and maintenance processes.
